Pear Suite tracks the start time and end time of each activity. This information is important, especially for documentation, billing, and meeting program requirements.

If you choose Start Now, the system will automatically record the time you begin the activity. It will then record the end time when you finish and submit the activity.

But sometimes, you may need to change those times—for example, if you forgot to start the activity when the visit began, or if you completed part of it outside the platform.

In these cases, you can manually adjust the start time and end time either:

  • While scheduling the activity (before you start), or
  • While completing the activity (before submitting it)

To do this, look for the editable time fields and update them to reflect the actual time you spent with the member. This helps ensure that your records are accurate and that you're meeting any billing or program-specific requirements.

Entering the correct time is not just a nice-to-have—it can directly impact whether your activity is considered valid for billing. So, whenever possible, try to enter the most accurate time based on when you actually started and finished working with the member.

If you’re unsure about how your program requires time tracking, check with your organization or reach out to your Customer Success Manager for clarification.
