How to Schedule an Activity
Scheduling an activity in Pear Suite is easy and can be done in two different ways, depending on your workflow.
One way to schedule an activity is by going directly to the member’s profile. Navigate to the Members section using the green sidebar, find the member you're working with, and open their profile. From there, click the “+ Activity” button.
You’ll choose the activity template you want to use, select one or more members, assign a responsible user (usually yourself), and enter the date, start time, and duration. Then select “Create Activity” in the pop-up box.
The other way is from your dashboard calendar. This method is especially helpful when you want to schedule an activity for more than one member at the same time—for example, during a group event, or when several family members are being seen together. To do this, go to the calendar and click the “+” button in the top-right corner. This brings up the same scheduling screen, where you’ll choose the activity template, assign a user, set the time and date, and add any additional members if needed. Once you click Create, the activity will appear in the member’s profile(s).
In both cases, the process is the same once you open the scheduling screen—it just depends on whether you're starting from the calendar or a member's profile.
If you need any help setting up your activity templates in the first place, remember that all templates are created in the Templates section on the left-hand green sidebar.
