Editing a Flow Inside an Activity Template
Every activity includes one or more flows, which are the sets of questions that get asked during a visit. If you need to change the questions—maybe you want to reword something, remove a question, or add new logic—you’ll want to edit the flow itself.
Here’s how to do that:
- Go to the Templates section in the green sidebar.
- Click on the Flows tab.
- Find the flow you want to update and click on it.
Once inside the flow editor, you can:
- Add, remove, or rearrange questions
- Change response types (e.g., from multiple choice to short text)
- Add branching logic (e.g., “If yes, show next question…”)
- Set up answer actions like automatically creating a goal or scheduling a follow-up activity based on the member’s response
Once you’ve made your changes, hit Save.
Important: Any updates made to a flow will apply to all future activities using that flow. It won’t change activities that are already completed or in progress.
